History is History. And those who forget it are bound to repeated it. P.C
be dammed, The man who sailed her into harms way deserve to be remembered
for what they and this nation Stood for when the whole would was going to
hell in a hand basket. 




The Ship and the BraSome time back, while visiting the USS North Carolina
at Wilmington, NC, I saw a group of Japanese tourists on board who were
staring at the ship's battle honors posted on the port wing of the
bridge.  The Japanese had very quizzical expressions on their faces.
I wonder how much longer, in this "politically correct" world, the
display of these battle honors will be allowed.  "We don't want to offend
anyone...."
Here I risk annihilation (and I don't care):  Tell that to a survivor of
the Bataan Death March.
