Obviously so! I had my eye on that MD7 , but I thought it was too much when it was at $100!
The question is, will the "winner" pay the bill?
A similar situation happened with a key I was watching. It was won at some ridiculous price, but then I get a notice that it had been re-listed a day or two later.
I have now resigned myself to building my own version of the MD7 using a SMPS running on 12V instead of a dynamotor. It will be more efficient, lighter, and far less expensive. (now raising the white flag...)

One way to increase your chances of winning an auction is to make an insanely high bid that is unlikely to be approached. ‘That’s a $350 item, I want it bad, it’s mine, I’ll bid $900.’ Along comes another bidder who says ‘That’s a $350 item, I want it bad, it’s mine, I’ll bid $901. ….OOPS!!!!! I’ll be eating Ramen noodles three times a day for the next month!!’
