[ARC5] need a laugh?

No, this guy is in MA. Martyn is in KY and left ebay in a huff a while back
over the constant changes and endless fees (one of the few things I'd agree
with him on). The guy in MA as Carl said doesn't really have a clue and
isn't thought of too highly locally. Another is a local convicted felon who
has changed IDs numerous times and now goes by jaguardog or such. He was
convicted in a marina theft some years back and like radiomart, it was
plastered all over the 'net numerous times. These guys prowl Craigslist and
advertise locally for old radios. And they turn up a fair amount of good
stuff as a result, stupidly-priced or otherwise.
And this attracts people to their auctions. Few bother to investigate
beyond the eye candy before them. Every now and then the guy in MA prices
something reasonably or even cheap, and it sells fast. That's all it takes.
He also sells numerous items for 'best offer'. Clearly he's making enough
money to make it worth his while.
So maybe the party(s) without a clue are literally the buyers. I'm at least
as puzzled by folks who have nothing better to do than surf the net all day
for things to disagree with. What I could do with even a FRACTION of that
free time!
