Well, that is simply nit-picking over designations and 12V / 24V versions
of what are really the same sets.
It doesn't address the question of Earhart's use of "some" radio (believed
to be Western Electric make) that had plugin coil sets and non-direct
readout of dial frequency, possibly leading to a mistake in the setting of
receiver frequency.
Incidentally, my theory of what happened to Earhart has nothing to do with
a frequency setting mistake. I simply wanted background on whether a
frequency setting mistake could have occurred in order to *eliminate* that
possibility and make my theory just that little bit more likely.
