I'll add that the reason the connectors for the main power cable are hard
to find (the other connectors for the system are not hard to find) is that
Hallicrafters had Amphenol modify standard AN connectors for use with the
SCR-543. The modification is that three of the #16 contacts were changed to
#12. To add to the confusion, some of the parts list in TM 11-625 and TM
11-625D show the standard (original) AN connector, AN 310x-28-8P or -8S. The
actual assigned number is AN 310x-28-767P or S but that doesn't help to locate
them as no AFAIK original connectors ever got the correct number stamped on
them in place of the -8P/S.
