[ARC5] Subterfuge and the BC-906-D

Looking at this BC-906-D I acquired, I see a bit of subterfuge, disinformation, deliberate deception.

The wavemeter actually covers 150 to 234 MHZ.  The dial is like a BC-221, and has "dimensionless" calibration.  The calibration charts show the dial readings versus numbers starting just under 15, and then go to on up to 23.4

They deliberately disguised the frequency covered by showing it divided by 10, just as they did on the ARR-1 and ARR-2.  Since this test equipment was used on radar and IFF, and John Forster says the Rebecca system as well, not publicizing the frequency probably was a good idea.  I just wonder if it worked.
