But silver sulfide is not a good conductor and is a more common tarnish
found especially in damp enviroments.

Dip silver cleaner, like Tarn-X, applied w/ a Q-Tip, followed by several
really good clean water rinses amd a long drying time.
But, Silver Oxide is conductive, and you don't need to clean the pins.
