[ARC5] Transmitter Woes

Just another reminder to check the transmitter variable
capacitor stators- there is a little metal strip press-fit on the end
of the stators to which the wires are soldered. Many of these
are beginning to get Hi-Z between the strip and the stator.
Oxidation builds-up between the strip and the stator posts.
A hot soldering iron (with care not to melt the little plastic
mounting balls) on one of the posts to the strip will fix it.
I've also begun to find this in the receiver variable caps,
including one that had a Hi-Z junction between two of
the plate spacing washers that mount the rotor plates.
I fixed that with a jake-leg spot-welder.
These vets are showing their age.
