True, Dave.   A friend used to sell housewares items on eBay but he did 
his homework and found that the Pyrex bowls and such that were selling 
for a quarter at garage sales would bring 100 times that on eBay, so he 
got into it.   And once everyone else figured it out, he got out!

I spotted a beat-up BC-453 in an antique store in WI that wasn't 
priced.  The owner said it was "make offer" because "it was probably the 
only one like it in existence".    I said something about if you counted 
barn-residue and hammer dents, he might be right and made an offer that 
clearly was considered an insult.     I left wondering how these people 
have computers that are able to snoop out every single prior auction on 
eBay but seemingly nothing else...
