Ken,

According to AN 16-30ARC5-2, Parts List section, revised 1950 or 1954, all
of the AN/ARC-5 receivers from R-23/ARC-5 through R-148/ARC-5X, T1 is A.R.C
5631. NAVAER 08-5Q-4 says ARA uses 5631. I didn't look up RAT/RAT-1 or RAV
as you're unlikely to have a scrapped one but would bet they are the same.

T.O. 08-10-50 only lists WECO part numbers and SIG STK Numbers. -A
SCR-274-N receivers use a transformer with the same number of terminals as the 5631
(5) but it should have some other numbers on it. -B receivers use a
transformer with 6 terminals.

So if it doesn't have 5 or 6 terminals, it isn't out of a receiver. If it
does and if it doesn't say "5631", it must be out of a Signal Corps receiver
or possibly out of something else entirely. The primary and secondary
winding resistances are given in the manuals.
