[ARC5] Crystals in WWII

I have read it and listened to a lecture by the author who is not an
engineer or too technically literate. He researched the history of quartz
crystals during WWII and gives some good insight on the problems of supply
and manufacture and how they were overcome. Interesting read but don't
expect too much on the technical side. He includes two pictures of WWII
radios; neither was crystal controlled.
