Hey!  Take a look at the last picture in the series.  There's a crystal socket mounted on the side of the chassis!

And that is a nutplate on the front where the antenna post should be.  But it looks like it is being used as a pilot light holder!

Interesting that the BFO coil seems to still be in place.  And that big cap would tend to indicate that at least part of the power supply is on the chassis.
