I just received a long e-mail, with photos, from one of the leaders of the
restoration effort.

For one thing, the antenna switch that I called a "knife switch" in an earlier
e-mail, DOES appear to be part of the TCS-13 setup.

On the installation diagram, it is listed as "Switch, Antenna, CYP-24223" and
installs between a "loading coil" and the antenna. From the drawing, it also
appear to have one connection directly grounded. I suspect, from the
drawing, it has a double-purpose: to both break the connection between the
antenna and the rig, and to ground the antenna at the same time with only
one movement of the switch. I suspect it is a safety switch more than
anything else.

I really don't think that my forwarding the entire message to the list would
serve a useful purpose, even if it could get through the system. It contains
2.5 MB of photos and drawings.

However, I will "bounce" the e-mail to anyone who would like a copy for the
information it contains.

However, if I "bounce" it, it MAY appear to the recipient as though it came
from the original sender, not from me, so please don't reply to it.

I am sure that the original sender would be very confused, and even upset, if
he got multiple replies from that one e-mail.
