[ARC5] AN/ARC-4 wanted to buy.

A benefactor wishes to buy a working AN/ARC-4 for the folks who are restoring the PT boat I 
mentioned in a previous e-mail.

If anyone has one they would sell, please contact me. I am acting as the intermediary.

They have the proper control head for it, but if there are any other accessories, like the 
antenna, etc., they might need for a fully working and authentic installation, the benefactor 
would be interested.

If you can, please state cost, condition, and, if possible, shipping cost to the Portland, Oregon 
area. At the moment, the PT boat is at a Naval base (Swan Island, I believe), but will be 
forced to move within a month due to new Navy requirements.

FYI, the PT boat, PT-658, is one of only 7 remaining in the world, and, apparently, the only 
one that is fully operational. It has taken them, all volunteers, 10 years of work to get it to this 
point. Also, apparently, their boat includes Packard Merlins, all of which are operational after 
an extensive rebuild.
