Roy,
You miss my point.
The PT boat is intended to be a restoration of how it was in WWII service.
They are looking for a RADAR of the time, an SO.
For something like that, you pick a date and try to make things as they
were on that date.
You would no more put a modern marine RADAR on the boat, than you would
put a GPS on 'Enola Gay'.
What the people viewing the artifact are carrying is irrelevant to the
display of what they are seeing. They are most likely not carrying WWII
cameras either.
