[ARC5] Call Letters

AJ1G is not that great a CW call either, too many single dots followed by a lot of dashes in the first three characters, but I've had it over 30 years now.  I previously had AJ2O after a 5 year hiatus between my original general WB2ZPS lapsed in 1973 while I was in college, and 1978 when I went from nothiing to extra in a very long day in Albany (I was living/working in Saratoga Springs, NY at the time).  Got AJ1G when I moved back to CT in early 1980.  AJ2O is now assigned to some big contester, I actually worked him on 40 CW  once a few years ago.

I live my 1X3 call! It belonged to my Elmer Robert Ehrhardt. My original call was WN5AIA / WB5AIA which was fine for rag chew qso's but hell for dx'ing!
