Right on! Plus, it is easier to find and tune in the signal on the frequency dial when using the sense antenna. My luck when using the loop was the desired station was typically in the direction of one of the loop antenna nulls. Of course that was in the days of the manually operated DU loops and radios without digital tuning. The only function that was digital was the power switch.
