[ARC5] [Milsurplus] Looking for inexpensive wire sources for making up cables

You are going to have to pay considerably more than scrap. You might look
for THHN at an electrical supply place or Home Depot/Lowes. It sort of
looks like the nylo0n over PVC of later WW II.
