[ARC5] 10 meter BC-454 - results encouraging

I have been listening to 10 meters for the past hour with this thing. I have not yet dealt with 
the BFO issues, nor completed the calibration.

As it sits, with any antenna connected to it, there is obvious band noise which is much 
stronger than receiver noise, and which disappears when the antenna is disconnected.

The Align Input peaks this band noise very sharply over the whole tuning range. That 
capacitor is between 1/3 and 2/3 open, so there is ample range. Coils appear to be properly 
sized.

Tuning is somewhat touchy, but not bad.

At this point, despite all the problems I have experienced with this thing, I am quite 
impressed.

I hope to have it finished by the end of next week.
