Why?  That will destroy the historical-technical provenance of a unit that
I suspect will **not** be employed in any useful application afterwards.

They were employed extensively in temporary installations for aircraft
ferrying operations.  You'll find a note on BC-1206-A and -B models stating:
"NOT TO BE REMOVED BY FERRY PILOT OR OTHERS EXCEPT UNDER ORDERS OF UNIT COMMANDER".
