Come on now,

It's clear from the discussion (which is now worn out) that everybody
*knows* what is being discussed. That's the important part. I also
didn't see where anybody actually likes sloppy (scientific term) tuning
and so all of us regard it a problem to be overcome. And THAT is what
the thread was/is all about.

This is venturing into personal attacks - again. Translation (not from a
wiki) - time to just stop and take a breath.
