The ATA/ARA manual has a similar list of fasteners "APT TO BE REQUIRED...".
But there are no clues as to whether you may need one or a hundred.
Interestingly, #3-48 x 1/4" is not on the list. It jumps from 7/32" to 9/32".
The AN/ARC-5 maintenance manual has a similar list, which does include a
#3-48 x 1/4" nickle plate screw. A note on it says that items shown in bold
are the only ones likely to be needed during routine maintenance. Of the
#3-48 screws, items in bold are 5/32" black and 3/16" and 1/4" nickle. My
guess is that these would be the screws holding components to the side of the
chassis, the tube cover and capacitor cover screws, and the bottom cover
screws.
