I finally DID find a chart listing all the screws for the entire SCR-274N sets,
but so far none for the AN/ARC-5 or ARA sets.
There are quite a number of different 3-48 screw lengths and types, but it
doesn't list where they go. I am sure some are used only in the transmitter
and other places, and not the receiver.
I compared screw lengths from what appears to be an original receiver that
had never been modified and found 4 different lengths (so far), all of which
had lock-washers included, including those three short ones at the bottom
front, although the lock-washers there were embedded in the paint and
almost impossible to remove.
According to the SCR-274N manual, all the 3-48 binding head screws are
brass, two sizes plated with cadmium, and the other several sizes plated with
nickle or were black. There were two sizes that were EITHER cad or nickle
plated.
As soon as I can get to my list, I'll post the information, in shortened form,
here.
