[ARC5] Transmitter Rack Question

For this uninformed guy, just what is the difference between the 
AN/ARC-5 MT-series and SCR-274-N FT-series racks? 
 
Is the orientation different? 
 
Is the distance of the connector from the bottom plate different? 
 
Or is it simply different wiring?
 
Can racks from one series be adapted to transmitters of the other 
series without serious destruction?
