I built up a hollow state converter in 1961 to
use with my 453 for 75m. It worked very well
but I have no idea what happened to it after
I bought my first NEW receiver, HQ-145X.
I used it with a home brew pair of 807s from
a QST and handbook article modulated by a pair
of 1625s.
I'd like to see the circuit for your converter!
