I hadn't thought of that, Todd. Thanks for the suggestion. I have been trying 
to use standard masking tape and it doesn't work for beans.

Yes. I have tried that too. Darned difficult. Furthermore, the lettering on those 
blue (or red) tags is actually a very thin plated "white metal" like zinc or nickle 
over the brass, not paint.

Gotta figure out some way to deal with those too.
