[ARC5] Deciphering Navy Contract Numbers

     I hope this is not OT here.  I recently acquired an RCA 
AR-88F AKA CRV 46246A. The Navy contract number is NXsr 
38074. Is there any way to find out more, such as a date, 
from this.  Signal Corps contract numbers generally have the 
last two digits of the year indicated, do the Navy numbers 
have any sort of date code?
