Only that it must have been made to hold something other than a Command Set 
receiver.  Changing connectors because you can't find (or are too lazy to 
look for) the mate was/is fairly common.  But who in their right mind would 
go to the trouble to change both connectors of a mating pair?  Especially 
when the insertion/extraction force of a 6 or 8-pin Jones pair is considerably 
higher than that of the original mini-banana pin types.
