I concur.  I spray a bit into a non-plastic cup and let it set for a 
very short time.  Then, I daub it on the area as necessary.  Finally,  I 
use a heat gun to start the curing process.  Just be careful not to heat 
the paint too much.  200 deg is recommended for about 5 minutes, but I 
find anything from there down to about 140 deg. works fine.
