For a small area you can put on a very thick coat (i.e. let the paint dry in a paper cup for a little while) and then use the bristles of a small brush (or even an old tooth brush) to "rough up" the paint until it matches.

I have what has been reccomended to work well (VHT SP201 Black Wrinkle
finish) but do not want to respray whole radios for many reasons.

I'd like to use a small brush to apply the paint locally, in three spaced
