The history books have the SCR-522 as an Americanized
British radio.

My question now is,  were the components of the British
radio, and the American SCR-522 interchangeable?

Would they fit on the same mounts, use the same cabling?

(If not, then what would have been gained by using the same
style connectors?)

Would a British Power supply work with an American R/T unit
and vice versa? Control unit as well?
