Sadly, most of the T.1154s are gone now, either stripped for the few
useful parts or trashed after the AudioPhools stripped out the valves for
some silly amplifier.
The R.1155s have survived better, but the rubber insulation has hardened
and perished. Also, many of the sets have had the DF stuff cut out to be
replaced by an audio amp to drive a speaker and / or power supply.
Also, there were tens of thousands ARC-5 type sets produced... far more
than any British set. Many of them sat in stores and never saw wartime
service. I doubt that can be said of many British sets.
