[ARC5] 4 transmitter rack FT-331-A

I have seen two other FT-331 racks, both the other ones were bare aluminum.

All had 'high' serial numbers like this one, maybe FT-331 S/Ns started 
at 2200 or some other high number.

I bet this 'dachshund' rack would buckle if it went through a hard 
landing while carrying four transmitters.



Does anyone have an RAV manual?  Didn't the RAV set consist of eight 
receivers?  Did the RAV set come in two each 4-wide racks?

Mike Hanz' photos of the "Type-K" Command Sets in storage at the 
Smithsonian show a full-up 4-wide receiver rack -  what pretty little 
radios they are!  Where else have you seen an octal socket with a mica 
insulator?
