To add to this from my experiences, I keep a few 'good' spare nozzles
off old cans, cleaned and ready to go. I judge a good nozzle as being
one that works well through an entire can. Some are bad from the
start, a poor fit or poorly formed.

If you don't use the entire can, be sure to flip it over and clear the
nozzle with a burst of propellant. Shouldn't take more than a second
or two at most, so you're not draining off a lot of valuable
propellant.

I've noticed that temperature and mixing have as much to do with
nozzle issues as they do with paint application. The rattle cans stay
in a warm closet inside the main house as a result. If the garages
were heated, I'd keep them out there.

VHT is indeed a paint where more seems to be better, so covering
lettering would certainly be an issue. I've only used it on cabinets
and panels where this wasn't a problem, and gotten excellent results.
But you will see any area where it's not applied evenly, usually
showing up with less/little/no wrinkle.
