ants to try their hand using my methods...shape with a claw hammer and 
ile to fit....

ell, I've got a drill press,vice(s), and a grinding wheel, if that will help anyone.
Interestingly, I just gave my eldest daughter a Binding Hammer for Christmas.
 She is working at a book manufactory and restoreing old books. Weird looking hammer!
