So did I....but due to many other reasons than missing the date.

At that point, I just said, "Why bother?" and let it lapse. I don't miss it in the 
least. I DO miss my 2nd RadioTelegraph though.

Well, I had high hopes. If I had it, I could walk into KPH now and operate the 
station which is still on the air today.

Rats! :-(

Apparently, however, the FCC still gives that exam. I might try for it again 
some day.
