Actually, no.  I was referring to the auto-transformer connection.  If you 
connect the two windings in series aiding and consider the transformer as 
having a single tapped winding, it becomes an auto-transformer.  If you 
connect the line to the tap, you will get higher than line voltage at the other 
end of the secondary winding and the circuit is that of a boost transformer.  
The connections to reduce output voltage as an auto-transformer are the 
reverse of those to do it as a buck transformer.
