I get 16 mm and 35 mm roll film duplicated whileI wait - silver is
supposed to last 200 years, if stored properly, according to the Library
of Congress. The Gloucester County (VA) Library recently bought film
readers that read out on a computer and make copies off the screen. I
grant you, 20 years ago film printers were unreliable. I get copies of
my film as diazo, which is harder to scratch than silver emulsion. If
all else failed you could read if with a loupe.
