Yes, one per band on the two higher ranges. On the RA-10D series
this gave you one crystal channel in the 2-5 range, and one in the
5-10 range. On the RA-10F, two crystal controlled channels were
provided for on both the 2-5 ranges, with no crystal control on the
5-10 range.
Bendix called it "lock-in" tuning. Select crystal on the control head
and tune the receiver to the approximate frequency.
One interesting thing I gleaned from the 1942 catalog, is that
while the majority of their equipment was described as for either
commercial or military service, the TA-12 is specifically listed
as "Designed for exacting military service, ....".
