Mike,
In fact, the loop function is optional on the RA-10. The relay box for the
loop on the front panel is not provided on all radios. It's a bolt on,
wire solder option.
Without the loop option, the loop, spline cable, special RF cable, loop
control, and loop relay are not used. W/o the loop, you probably don't
need the receiver meter either.
