and TN-6 Antenna Tuner, ready for testing:

Ain't she purrr-deee? ;-)
Yes- that is the display board I used way back at the first
MRCG meeting in San Luis Obisbo in 1995, re-worked.

Haven't finished refurbing the R-25, so using an R-26 for tests.
The J-22 jack box is mounted on the vertical post just
behind and to the left of the receiver. Will be moving that
under the C-26 once I lace-up a longer cable. This set
does not use (or need) a C-29 TX control box;
an authentic option. All the major and most of the minor
componants match the contract of the T-17 and TN-6,
NXsa-32848.
All the connectors save one are 9000-series ARC-5 loom type.
I haven't found my "correct" ARR-2 receiver rack- must be here
somewhere- so am temporarily subbing the rare ARA single
rack until I do find it. The manual says to connect the TN-6
loading coil between the transmitter and the antenna switch,
but this is bad practice as- if using the intended electrically-short
aircraft antenna- it puts a high-voltage node inside the RE-2.
So I elected to insert it after the switch (probably won't need it
anyway, but it just looks so cool ;-).

Winter Project: 90% certain it will be the Australian AT5/AR8.

OK ya'll- your turn. What's your "winter" project?
