Perhaps one of these days, some docs will surface 
on the R-27s we occasionally see with the Spot Tuner.
One need only wire the last four ART-13 channels
as channels 1-4 on the tuner and the freq's in Mr. Ramey's
TBM are covered.   So obvious a solution, it's 
all but certain that's why the R-27s got a tuner.
If an R-27 with the tuner were a "one-off,"
anything could have been going on.  
But we've seen more than one.
An installation where the R-27 would have operated 
for the first six ART-13 channels makes no sense.
