Yes indeed. The Spot Tuner was used on both R-26 and 
R-27 receivers when they were paired with the ART-13
transmitter. The ART-13 and "Spot-Tuned" receiver 
were pre-set to six HF channels, synced with the first six
positions of the ART-13 channel selector. Special 
control heads were supplied for the purpose.
Neat device, but made the receiver to which it was
attached very difficult to use for anything other 
than channelized freqs, because the entire tuning range
was condensed in less then one turn of the tuning knob.
