[ARC5] Yardney Spot Tuner (?)

Has anyone ever heard of a Yardney Spot Tuner? When I was 14 years old my
Sunday school teacher gave me a BC-454 (new, as I recall - this would have
been around 1964) and it had a "Spot Tuner" attached to the front,
intercepting the main tuning control. I think it was motorized. I am
curious to see one again. I have no recollection of what I did (ashamed to
say) with the one I had back then. Thanks.
