I already have your GF-12/RU-17 and RU-18/19 reprints, I guess I ought to order the GF-11/RU-16 reprint for completeness!

(By the way, I have had a resounding silence to my request for anyone who could supply an Rx Control Box and Antenna Relay for the GF-12/RU-17 - I guess this means they are as hard to find as the proverbial rocking-horse droppings!)

  Yes. The two receivers differ (aside from any serial number related changes during production) only in the nameplates. The electrical differences are in the antenna relay, junction box, and dynamotor.



    The same question applies also to the RU-18 and RU-19 - are the differences confined to the Dyno and JB?



  Yes.



    It seems a fair bet that the coil units for the RU-16 and RU-17 are interchangeable, and likewise for the RU-18 and RU-19. But are they also interchangeable across all four versions?



  Yes. The Command and Liasion receivers are not interchangable but the coilsets are. 

  I have the manuals on GF-11/RU-16, GF-12/RU-17, and RI-18 and 19 available as reprints. I also have a few earlier manuals but haven't scanned and cleaned them.
