Error.  I have some steel LG-2-A that are stamped LG-2A..  Probably the 
last ones made before the aluminum LG-2-B came out.  From the quantity that 
turned up, and their ultimate disposition (MAP) I surmise they were sidelined 
in Supply on an 'issue only if nothing else is available" basis.
