Yes; I should have kept my verbs consistant.  My grammer has never
been great.  It, like many other things, is crumbling under
the steady assault of Father Time.... the old %&#@!

Water only at the car wash.  And I spend at least 30 seconds
with the sprayer , set to "rinse," pointed a the drain,
blowing the rinse water through it at high pressure.
This is to remove any detergent or chemical from the line.
Not the "spot free rinse," which adds a chemical.
Just the straight rinse water.  Thoughtfully used,
it has worked well for me for decades.
