By a totally deranged artist? :-)

This kind of goes back to the original subject, oddly enough. I have two
Narco Mk 12s on the inbound. Now, as everyone here knows, the Mk 12 uses a
separate PS and audio section so I'll need an audio mixer & amp to handle
the outputs to bring them up to speaker level. These two will immediately
go on HNL approach/departure and HJR tower. Looks like I have to get out my
AM-26 hulk and pervert it to my will. Or maybe tap into the audio stage of
one of my Type 12 or Type 15 receivers (about which no one cares since
they're not ex-military equipment in OD, black wrinkle or bare metal
therefore are of no interest whatsoever) so it's providing audio for all
three. That could be fun.

Hmmm ... racking up three Type 15 receivers in a definitely less than
pristine 2-position Rx rack and an extra Type 15 rack then mounting the
combo next to the two Narcos would work. Also, I have a "sat upon by
something very heavy that wasn't me" B-13 VOR/ILS converter that could
provide the chassis for a rackable audio mixer/amp. It's tagged as a parts
source to make others work and I'd hate to waste the chassis after it's
stripped of what's left that's still useable. A little metalwork with a VLH
(very large hammer) and it'll be right as rain. More or less. Kinda sorta.

Now, what to do about the UHF side ... :-D

Best regards,
