My act got straightened out real fast by a couple of WW II AAF radio techs
who figuratively beat me soundly about the head & shoulders after which we
started out again with fresh used but unmodified radios operated as intended
only with a mains power supply instead of a dynamotor.  They insisted I
needed 24v for the relays too so leave the heaters alone.  Funny how those
rigs worked sooo darn well that way.

Please send me the screen wire if it's copper or bronze which I believe were
the strongly recommended flavors.  I have an application for it that has
absolutely nothing to do with converting military radios - or even civilian
radios.  Not even the G-43.  :-D

Easier to use a T-17 or bend a T-18 down than triple in a T-15.  :-P
