[ARC5] Kludge - an honest definition

I've heard it usually pronounced klooge, and normally spelled kluge from
most usage I've seen over the years. Also Google reports ~7.5 million
for kluge and only ~0.5 million for kludge; not proof, but an indicator.
I recall my father and others in the 50s using it. He was neither a
radio nor computer guy. It was in universal use when I was in school
in the 50s and 60s. Also in the Air Force in the 70s, and for the past
30 years in the aerospace business. The Wiki entries attributing the
first use by computer guys would appear to be fictional. My guess is
that this word was widely used by military instructors in WWII hence the
wide usage post war.
